It's an interesting time as we are being asked to navigate the unknown. We have quickly learned how little control we have over our circumstances. It is emotional to say the least. We are being asked to trust that this quarantine to prevent more any more sickness and death is the best course of action for us as a community.
I feel your pain, worry and stress. I am navigating my own.
It's an interesting timing as we closed on the purchase of our house last Thursday. And today, I am writing to say Govener Inslee has required Olalani to stop all treatments until at least April 1st.
On Thursday, I was stressed and worried how I was going to navigate, both of my careers, traveling to Vegas for Kaylees vollleyball tournament next week, while painting, installing carpet, packing and moving. I was worried that I couldn't stay our first night in the home until the end of April.
Today all of that changes. I get the time to paint, pack and move. And I get to be stressed about toilet paper and upcoming mortgage payments with limited cash flow instead.
The point is to question the attitude of WORRY. We can always find things to worry about. Even if the situation changes, we can find new things to worry about. It creates more stress and premature aging along the way. Isn't that what we are trying to avoid in the long run? The second question in our Olalani Healing Facial is "How is your stress level today?" ;-)
Lets find the little things to be grateful for today instead of worry. We will take all the precautions, boost our immune system, save money and enjoy the simple memories that this quarantine is giving us. Reading books, cooking, games with the kids. I get to paint during this gorgeous sunny day!
* If you have an appointment scheduled with me prior to April 1st, 2020 please reschedule your appointment for a later date. I will reach out to you in the next week to help you with that process.
*If your budget allows, prepaying for your services are a great way to support me during this time. I am offering 10% off all Olalani eGift Cards until the State of Washington lifts the ban.
*If you need to purchase any Eminence products, please text or email me. I will schedule a block of time to be at the shop later in the week so you can swing by to buy it. I am able to USPS product to you at that time.
Today we will unite in solidarity to trust, surrender and have gratitude. I am grateful that you are my tribe and I am in your tribe.
Aloha nui loa!
